I have a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, Charles Town, WV and a Master's of Professional Studies in Homeland Security from Pennsylvania State University, State Park, PA.

Hi, I'm Arthur Ceballos and I'm passionate about exploring the rich and diverse history of Native Americans in Southern California and Mexico. I was born in San Diego, California, where I grew up surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and cultures of the Kumeyaay, Luiseño, Cahuilla, and other indigenous peoples. I had the privilege of visiting many Native American reservations and talking to many elders and community members about their life stories, traditions, challenges, and aspirations.

 

Through these conversations, I learned a lot about the complex and often overlooked history of Native Americans in this region, as well as their ongoing struggles for recognition, sovereignty, and justice. I always felt the need to help families with genealogy research, especially those who have lost or forgotten their ancestral connections due to colonization, assimilation, or displacement. I believe that knowing your roots is essential for your identity, self-esteem, and sense of belonging.

 

That's why I started this website, where I offer my services as a genealogist and a storyteller. I help people trace their Native American ancestry, find their tribal affiliations, and discover their family histories. I also share stories and insights from my own research and experiences, as well as resources and tips for anyone interested in learning more about Native American history and culture.
